|Both packages your cam is required as a core. Just ship us your head, cylinder, and cam to receive either package. The 11/1 piston is best for 91 octane pump gas and the 12.5/1 requires 100 octane gas. This can be attained by mixing 108-112 race gas 50/50 with 91 octane pump gas. This kit price is for you shipping us your top-end only. We have been tuning and setting them up as we would one of our Baja race quads for good power and durability. We have been posting well over 60 horsepower on the dyno running this set up. A 60+ horsepower motor with high torque numbers (50+ ft lbs) makes the Raptor seriously fast and a blast to ride with lots of bottom. These kits are offered as a motor only package.We highly recommend our CT Racing pipe kit to be used with both kits and the fuel management program is required. We have had great success with the Dynatek F.I. Controller, MSD Blaster and the Dynojet Power Commander III and V. The Dobeck Gen 3 will work, but the Dobeck Gen 2 will not.|

The unique difference is in the design of the wheel hub mounting area. Standard design ATV axles neck down to about 1″ in diameter. A splined wheel hub slides onto the axle shaft and is retained with a hex nut. As all ATVer’s know, hubs loosen frequently. The X-33 changes all that. The wheel hub is clamped solid and driven by a pin on a 1-3/8″ diameter shaft. This axle is rifled to reduce weight near the rotational axis of the ATV.
