Yamaha YFZ450 Exhaust Pipe Kit
Our CT Racing YFZ450 Exhaust Pipe kit consists of the complete exhaust system with the 16 disc spark arrestor system and our CT jet kit with a titanium needle. 16 discs produce the maximum horsepower on a stock yfz450 with the lid off of the air box. Removing the discs and going to an open end cap or adding more discs to a stock motor will lose peak horsepower. The lid can be run, but it will result in a loss of horsepower. The CT YFZ450 pipe is tunable. As you add more horsepower to the motor with performance parts, you can add discs to achieve maximum horsepower.
Noise:The disc type spark arrestor system allows you to tune the noise level. Our system tuned for peak horsepower running all 16 discs puts out a throaty sounding 101dB. This is not acceptable for many riding areas. With the disc type system, you can simply remove discs to get to the range you need. At 6 discs, you would be in the 93dB range. You will lose some horsepower as you cut the noise. Our pipe will still make the most power at any dB as compared with any other aftermarket pipe at the same dB level.
